Established by Congress in 1991, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Mentor Protégé Program (MPP) helps small businesses boost Prime and Subcontract awards by creating long-term relationships with larger, established, successful companies. The MPP opens new opportunities for Protégé's to serve DoD and other Government agencies.
Tec-Masters, Inc. has a long and successful history of formal and informal Mentor-Protégé arrangements, with its first DoD MPP in 2001. Tec-Masters, Inc. gives back to the business community and in doing so, strengthens the nation's industry base to support our troops.
Tec-Masters, Inc. provides guidance in the areas of Technology Transfer, Business Development, and other business systems and processes. The MPP development assistance creates winning scenarios for the Protégé, Mentor, and DoD.
As a part of the program, MPP Agreements also include partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions (HBCU/MIs); Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs), and Small Disadvantaged Business Development Centers (SDBDCs).
